As a part of the organization, AWS DevOps Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure mainly AWS
  • Work closely with software engineering team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
  • Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Automate infrastructure with Terraform
  • Manage Linux based systems, implement fixes for vulnerabilities 
  • Monitor and analyze infrastructure and systems for security threats, performance issues and take proactive actions.

 

Qualifications:

Must have:

  • 3-5 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure for high-volume web applications.
  • Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking 
  • Experience with AWS CLI tools and APIs
  • Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments, knowledge of AWS best practices
  • Good grasp of AWS VPC and networking along with Linux system administration
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and implementing deployment automation.
  • Experience with Docker, Git, Github Actions/webhooks, Redis cluster, Postgres, Nginx, and managing applications on AWS
  • Expertise in scripting languages
  • Good grasp of at least one programming language e.g. Python, Ruby etc
  • Good understanding of Jenkins and Terraform.
  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent

 

Good to have:

  • AWS certifications
  • Experience in managing high volume RubyOnRails & ReactJS applications
  • Good written and verbal communication(English)
