Responsibilities:

• Help to plan and carry out the organization's information security strategy.
• Develop a set of security standards and best practices for the organization.
• Regularly monitor web application infrastructure on cloud for security issues, breaches or intrusions.
• Identify and install best automated monitoring tools for the cloud and web infrastructure to protect Web Services and cloud services including firewalls and data encryption programs.
• Develop strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach.
• Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents and assess the extent of damage.
• Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause. Initiate incident response actions to minimize the impact on the web applications.
• Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover cloud network vulnerabilities.
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
• Stay current on cloud and SASS information security trends and news.
• Understanding of the security standards like OWASP, GDPR, SOC 2.
• Research security enhancements and take necessary actions.
• Stay up-to-date on latest vulneraibity threats and treands.
• Experience - 6+ years.

Web/Cloud Information Security Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in implementing the web security tools like DataDog, Splunk, Synk, AWS inspector etc.
• Understanding of firewalls, proxies, antivirus, content filtering and IDPS concepts with respect to AWS cloud services.
• Good understanding of Linux 
• Ability to identify and mitigate cloud network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
• Experience planning, and developing security policies, standards and procedures.
• Prior experience with GDPR and Soc 2 Type II implementation is good to have. Participation in conducting internal information security audits and closure of non-conformities and required actions to strengthen the information security implementation of the organization will be added advantage.
• Good to have knowledge of disaster recovery, system and network security scanning tools, technologies and methods.
• Experience of implementation of security in web application/SASS from the scratch makes you an ideal candidate.
