Responsibilities:

1. Architect, design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
2. Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functioning features
3. Collaborating with a team to define, design, and ship new features
4. Provide estimates on development cycles
5. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance and quality
6. Communicate with stakeholders and clients in the US/Europe
7. Participate in community knowledge sharing activities and skill building

Skills:

1. Proficient with Swift 4/5 and/or Objective-C with a good understanding of Cocoa Touch
2. Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
3. Strong understanding of object oriented principles
4. Understanding of architectural patterns MVC and MVVM.
5. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
6. Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
7. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
8. Familiarity with Push notifications, Deep Linking and Core Location
9. Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
10. Understanding of Git.

Nice to have:

1. Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation etc.
2. Familiarity with SwiftUI
3. Experience in Payment gateway integration in mobile apps
4. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
5. Knack for benchmarking and optimization
6. Have 2+ years of Software Engineering experience
7. Has launched apps in the AppStore
8. Experience building real-time applications is a bonus
9. Experience with tools like Photoshop and Sketch is a bonus
10. Proven ability to build, launch and iterate quickly on apps under pressure
